If Kimi ever looked happy it probably means the world is close to ending

Well, that interview between Kimi and Nico couldn't have been much more awkward.

The cringe. Why get a driver to conduct the interviews?

I have a friend with a 200' yacht there now. One day I may get the invite.

A former driver is typically the one to do the post race interviews on the podium.

Meh, Vettel was faster than him today. Obviously the pit strategy helped him get ahead, but Vettel was the better driver.

Yep....he built up a 13 second lead before safety car, Vettel was just waiting for kimi to get out the way and put some distance between them...smart.

This is truly one my favorite days of the year. Monaco, Indy then the 600.

Then, back in the day, IMSA at Lime Rock on Monday.

Vettel was faster regardless of pit strategy. For all the reasons I love Monaco I hate it for the same. History means old outdated track. More turns means less passing. Luck has more to do than actual strategy.

I love Monaco and hope they never change it. It sucks that a wreck in qualifying is what defined this weekend. Last year was defined by one small screw up in the pits that gave RIC no chance to get back in the lead because of the track. Then the year before was a mis-timed pit that again gave the then race leader to chance to get spots back.

It is a "strategy" track, but is not a driver's track at all. Driver is for quali only then they just have to drive in the parade.

That doesn't mean that Seb had a faster car, or that he was doing a better job behind the wheel. Kimi was obviously racing one strategy, while the team had other plans. Remember, just the day before Kimi set the all time track record.

People can twist it 100 different ways, but Ferrari did not put Kimi in a position to win.

No, it has more to do with qualifying and pit crew skill.

shite happens, but I wouldn't assume he'd have gotten the pole if it didn't. Vettel is the best driver in the field.
