No way Leclerc did it purposely.
No but would be hilarious if he had

It seems kind of fricked up that you can end a session and gain benefit from it.

If his gearbox has to be replaced he'll lose 5 spots

Yeah, but it’s a fine line. If he needs a gear box replacement, he will have to move down.

Really hoping he doesn’t. Would love to see Ferrari win in Monaco.

Did Ferrari just do that intentionally?
Rosberg needs to explain to him how you just need to cause a caution and not wreck out.

Would be really surprised if he doesn't need one.

Eh, i think it’s 50/50.

Ya, that rear tire. If its just flat he might be alright.
But when they showed it against the barrier it definitely looked like way more damage.

Rosberg said it was fine. Not sure if Ferrari would let anyone know it isn't at this point.
That smack had to go straight down the axle.

Always cool to see the fastest car in each mini sector. 9 of the 10 drivers in Q3 were fastest somewhere (Gasly only driving missing).

LeClerc only fastest in one mini sector but most consistent overall.

I can see why Max was bummed, apparently he was 1.5 up on sector 1.

Here's the video of him getting the red flag and his reaction. His engineer says he was one and a half up after the exit of turn 8 but I'm pretty sure that means .15 up not 1.5.

Valtteri was up a tenth or so as well.
Carlos seems pretty ticked about it.

I don't have millions of dollars on the line and I'm a frick-it kind of guy anyways, so if I were Ferrari, then I'm running that gearbox no matter what, unless it's totally fubar.

Given that it’s Monaco I think you roll the dice as well
Posted on 5/22/21 at 2:46 pm to BottomlandBrew
100% roll the dice. If it breaks oh well, if it holds he can win, if they swap he has no shot. Even if it’s iffy I would run it and hope he can nurse it.

Points are points though and they are going to need all they can get to beat Mclaren
