I booked the Holiday Inn downtown for $195/night. I wanted to be somewhat close to downtown and my wife is leery of AirBnBs so I was ok with that rate. There was 1 bed/1 bath AirBnBs in that area for around $70 a night as of a couple days ago.

Best I can tell, some Premier league teams or soccer/football teams/players are going dark this weekend in a show of support or solidarity over people being trolls/assholes/mean on social media.
Not sure if a singular incident set it off or what.
The common goal seems to be wanting social media companies to police bad actors more.

Yeah just read it, what a bunch of pussies... soccer club players are getting heckled by fans on social media and they are throwing a fit.
So this is their protest. Doesn’t say anything about it being threatening or whatnot.
