That’s the whole point of the sport, the car construction. The driving in Formula 1 is secondary to the construction of the cars.
To paraphrase “if you want to watch a pure racing series, there are plenty of more pure racing series where drivers are more central to performance.”

I don’t particularly follow it but W series has an interesting approach. They literally give the drivers a random spec’d car so technically they should all be on an even footing

The F1 purist and nazis won’t like this comment, but there really shouldn’t be a driver championship since there is such parity amongst the teams. Should just be constructors.
Like I said, you put GR in that Merc last year and he showed he could dominate.

F1 the big reward is really the constructors still. That is where the big money is rewarded. The driver's championship is secondary honestly except for fans
