I have thought Checo to Haas, just makes the most sense. And Mick going to Alfa to stay closer to Ferrari and Europe.

Checo and Hulk to Haas maybe??

Idk,I have a feeling with the way Hulk has basically hit it out the park as a relief driver that he gets a ride somewhere

Hulk takes Albon's seat, maybe?

I'd like Mick to go to Alfa and Checo to Haas so that Russell can keep his seat at Williams.

That would also make sense. A mazepin and Checo pairing would bring huge financial backers. Bring Haas close up to the spending cap most likely. Mick to alfa to stay close to Ferrari. I like it.

Has anyone had a better season than Hulk?

Red Bull is a mystery... too much talk about Albon not performing enough to stay... Rumors that even though Gasly is driving his arse off, they dont see him there next year... With that being the best open seat remaining, that will be the biggest deciding factor in the market

I think he's shown that he's worthy of a seat somewhere.

He was in a great car both times but I find it funny that as a reserve driver participating in only 2 races that Nico has more points than Gio, Rai, Gro, Mag, Lat, and Rus COMBINED.

Albon keeps his seat due to the Thai connections to Red Bull.

Which leads to Gasly moving Renault with the French connections makes too much sense not to happen.

GAS has to wait for that Renault seat. Ocon is good enough and French. Red Bull rumors seem too true about not promoting him again.

I don't think Albon has the Red Bull drive next year either, but damn it doesn't seem as if they want to move him. Who fills that seat is a great question.

Got to admit I don’t keep up with F1 religiously, but is there any way for Haas to be bought out to a more competitive team from US? This shite is embarrassing for US racing. And when, if ever can we get an American driver that can compete on this circuit? Hell, I’ll contribute.

Yes... if Gene Haas wanted to sell the team, he could, if the FIA agreed to the terms

Haas is a new team in F1... the other teams have been in the sport for decades... some as themselves and some with other team names that have evolved into what they are today, i.e. Mercedes

Couple that with Haas's ties to the Ferrari power unit, Haas's poor leadership and poor driving and you have today's Haas

The best American drivers are in IndyCar and WEC, but those two series seem to be the place where F1 drivers who lost their ride end up... Also, for whatever reason, F1 tends to look down on American drivers as a whole... not part of the club kinda thing... I would really like to see Josef Newgarden at a top F1 team... he could do some real damage and win some races, but that's not going to happen

I saw some complaints earlier that since Perelli wasn’t familiar with this circuit that they just brought the hardest compounds and the complaint was that could make this a 1 stop race. Lots of the drivers complained about graining on the front left so hopefully that makes this a 2 stop.

I put more blame on Max than Stroll, though stroll shares a little blame. Max always thinks the track is his and people need to get out of his way. It was very apparent that Stroll was going fast again and Max put himself in that position.

edit: aaaand Max calls Stroll a retard and mongol LINK That's not going to go well for him.

Yeah, Max was running offline and should have given the position.

They were dragging down the front stretch so Max had to know Stroll was going for another fast lap. Max just didn't want to give up his fast time.

Doesn’t bode well for including this track for future seasons.
