Former NBA player Malik Beasley will enter a guilty plea on Dec. 9 with the Department of Justice over his role in bribery and betting scheme on his NBA play, his attorney Steve Haney tells ESPN.

Guessing he named names and will get a heavily reduced sentence.

You could tell he didn’t want his door kicked in at 3am and legs broken by the way he hustled for that rebound lol. That was just insane he thought he’d get away with it being so obvious.

A lifetime ban from the NBA is a given and since it’s a federal charge with mandatory sentencing at the very least for wire fraud, he’s looking at legitimate time in a federal pen.

Locally, the Jontay Porter case has gotten heavy coverage and he was small fry as compared to Beasley. He’s already plead guilty and is awaiting his final sentencing, with the lifetime NBA banishment already delivered, and has been reported that he’s facing a 41 to 60 month mandatory sentence.
