RIP from Heart attack

quote:

Former MLB shortstop Julio Lugo has died after “presumably” suffering a heart attack, according to ESPN’s Enrique Rojas. He was 45.

quote:

Lugo, who grew up in Brooklyn and attended Fort Hamilton High School, would’ve turned 46 on Tuesday. His 12 MLB seasons included stints with the Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros and St. Louis Cardinals

quote:

The Astros selected Lugo in the 43rd round of the 1994 draft out of Connors State College in Oklahoma. He made his MLB debut in 2000, slashing .283/.346/.431 with 10 homers, 40 RBI and 22 steals in 116 games as a rookie. He played with the Rays and Dodgers before joining the Red Sox, and finished his career with the Braves in 2011.

Wouldn’t doubt it, but the media would never mention that.

Used to be when you saw a former athlete have a heart attack in their 40s the immediate conclusion to jump to was blow. Now it's the vaccine.

Thanks, China.

I would assume any player from that era dying early from heart issues is roids related but ain't like Lugo was ever big

I actually caught a home run ball in batting practice and he was the one who hit it. He probably only had 20 HRs in his entire career.

Open your fricking eyes, young people dying of heart attacks, soccer players in Europe collapsing all over the field (myocarditis). Unexplained heart conditions worldwide. Turn off msnbc and research real news. The vaccines are starting to kill people
