No one is saying shite about Orton, its pretty easy to figure out what we are talking about.

Exactly.
I don't hate Tebow.
I only hate the Tebow fanboys.

How is that any different than a QB that throws for 220 a game and gets you nearly no rushing yards? Again, do yards in the air count for more than yards on the ground?
because he goes stretches (ie 3.5 quarters) where the offense cannot do anything.
not because of his weapons, but because of his inability to throw the ball.
you dont see how that can come back to hurt him against good teams?

No it's not, not sure why people are bitching when Denver clearly has no other option.
I'll challenge you to find more than one or two people here saying he's a good NFL QB.

I watch a lot of football. I still play competitive sport. Attributing TEAM SUCCESS to ONE GUY (particularly one guy who's not playing well) is an insult to the rest of the players in the locker room.
Tebow doesn't make his defense better. The belief (by the entire team) that they can actually win games makes the entire team better. And again, it's not all Tebow. He's just the guy that initiated the spark that boosted the confidence of this squad. The Broncos were a dejected team with no life with Orton as starter.

I'm pissed at the Tebow fanboys who think that he's good when it's obvious that he's not.

All of his defenders are saying that.

the body language of his WR's everytime he threw the ball into the ground was not good.
Are you talking about last night, or previous weeks? There were 5 dropped balls that were easily catchable. Decker, I guess his #1 WR had a terrible game.
I think if anything, the WRs could have been frustrated with some of the play calling. If they spread it out like they did on the final drive I think they'd have more success.

this thread isn't 8 pages because people are saying Tebow is better than Orton. Read it. Get a clue.

And Tebow can't do shite for 55 minutes.

BTW, he must hate UF QBs with a vengeance right about now.
First, Grossman takes his job in Chicago, now Tebow does the same in Denver.

maybe so but I find myself really enjoying watching him at the end of games
I burst out in a mixture of laughter and applause when he scored last night... I think the reaction from Elway was more of a pure face palm

last night

2 or 3 in my eyes. Not 5.
that is arbitrary though. Lets say there were 5, he threw 8-10 balls that weren't close.
He missed Decker on what would have been their biggest play of the game when he got behind the secondary. I saw Decker drop 1 bad ball, and he was probably shocked it came anywhere close to his hands

They had to change things up. However, that doesn't make Tebow a better QB, or even a real QB.

He's started 8 games in his career on a bad offensive team. Of course he's not going to succeed against good teams.
The issue is that people assume he will have absolutely zero improvement for the rest of his career.

You attribute it to Tebow--unjustly, I might add. I attribute it to adjustments made by the coaching staff during the bye week.
Well, thats just idiotic. Planning in the off week has nothing to do with Linebackers and Defensive ends chest bumping and pumping Tebow and themselves up. This is rarely seen in todays game, very rare.
Hey, I know Tebow is a poor thrower and I dont know how much better he will get. I do know this,
1. He will outwork anyone to try to improve.
2. He will sell out on every play he plays.
3. If the staff asked him to play nose tackle for a series he would do it without question.
"He has guts, and sometimes guts is enough"
I hope the guy continues to improve and win. In a time of shite athletes for role models he is a great one for youngsters imo.

OK...

1. He will outwork anyone to try to improve.
So will 99% of the players in the NFL.

Then maybe he should play running back.

I love cliches. They allow one an opportunity to say something without really thinking or really saying anything.

Yeah, Drew Brees is a terrible role model.
