Kyle shannahan sure has some pedestrian qbs:

Jimmy G
Trey Lance
Brock Purdue

If he had an above average to elite qb he’d probably have a ring by now

Purdy wasn't the issue last night

What was then????

Mccaffrey was good. Receivers played well. Defense played well enough. Sans the extra point special teams was good.

Dumbass penalties are about all I can point to

The issue was abandoning the run game for a quarter at a time.

You miss the giant, game changing fumble on the punt?

True, but he wasn’t a plus either.

Currently watching Get Up on ESPN and they just said that while Shanahan knew the new overtime rules there were a number of players on the 49ers that didn't. Contrast that to one of the post-game interviews with Mahomes last night when he said Andy Reid was going over the new overtime rules so much in practice that Mahomes was starting to tune out whenever he started bringing them up again.

If that never happens, the game is boring and over an hour earlier. Niners win.

The 49ers Oline is a question mark in my view. Aging LT is their best guy. Rest pretty pedestrian.

Receivers played well.

Check again. They did not. Neither Deebo or Aiyuk could get open. Kittle barely did anything

If Dan Campbell does let off the gas then the Niners are never in the Super Bowl ?????

Deebo and Aiyuk played fine. Kittle was a non factor in the passing game. Jennings had a phenomenal game.

Chiefs recovered 6/7 fumbles. Can’t believe Kyle didn’t jump on one.

I think the issue was they played against the best quarterback in the league. San Fran really played a great game. No much else to say about it honestly.

Kinda felt like Purdy outplayed Mahomes to be honest

Yet if he simply runs the ball, he wins two SB with those QBs.

Shanahan could have Brady or Montana and he would still choke it away.

Based on what?

Purdy didn’t have the bad int. San Fran moved the ball better most of the game. The only TD drive the chiefs could muster with Mahomes came when they were given the ball on the 10.

The 49ers were able to get two TD drives in regulation behind purdy
