There's too many penalties and QB play is down across the board. In the NFL at least. I agree this season has been very meh so far.

Targeting and safety rules don't help, but sucky teams are really pushing it over the edge

Also doesn't help that Sean McDonough is busier pointing out who went to Syracuse than he is about doing play-by-play.

Just had this discussion at work today. Especially with NFL. There has been an over saturation lately, even in the summer that's all you hear about that it's now year round.

Your product is also not going to be very innovative or interesting when 75 percent of the coaches in the NFL got their jobs because daddy or big brother was a coach.

People shouldn't waste time watching too much NFL. Its sucks and has sucked for a while now.

I'm watching too, obviously. But it's like watching your former favorite TV show after your favorite character left the show, or it's in its final, embarrassing seasons but you can't stop watching because you want to see how it ends.
