Note this was before his last hit in the 9th that brought his wRC+ to 161 and he's now tied for 1st in the NL

I think he's already in the conversation. He won't have the 15-20 seasons in the MLB that some of the other GOATs have but what he has done the past 8 years has been absurd.
He already has more 50 HR seasons than Bonds. Was the best player on 2 championship teams.
He has the highest strikeouts per 9 innings in baseball history with 11.4.
He has a real legit shot at winning Cy Young this year and also has a great shot at his 4th consecutive MVP.

This is what does it for me, if he put up utility fielder stats + decent relief pitching he would already be a crazy player for the roster size value. But instead we get top notch pitching and top notch batting.
It's like he's solved a century-old problem and exists on a separate tier from every other player
