Final Week of MLB Regular Season Thread

Who you got finishing where?
Already Decided
AL East - Boston
AL Central - Cleveland
NL East - Atlanta
AL Wild Card (1 of 2): NYY
Close races to be decided this week:
AL Wild Card (Host) - NYY holds 1.5 game lead over Oakland for host of play in game
NL Central - Chicago up 2.5 games on Milwaukee
NL West - LAD up 1.5 games on Colorado
NL Wild Card - Milwaukee up 2 games on St. Louis while St. Louis is up 1.5 games on Colorado
Many of these teams will be playing each other so should be an awesome final week.
I’ll go with my lone wild prediction: Colorado catches LA, and LA misses playoffs.

NL Cy Young- deGrom. Should be unanimous, no brainer.
NL MVP- Yelich or Baez. Can’t go wrong with either, IMO
AL Cy Young- Verlander, Cole or Sale. I’d personally vote Sale, with Cole close behind. Snell is a dark horse, he really is having a great season.
AL MVP: Betts or Trout. Could go either way, hell, Trout could win every year, he’s that great. I think Betts wins it though.

I think you’re severely understating Snell’s chances. Cole doesn’t have a shot. Sucks Sale missed so much time but it definitely made the race interesting cause it seemed like he had it locked up before going on DL
Also, NYY owns tiebreaker with Oakland so they’re basically another game in front of them

How much does Atlanta focus on getting home field compared to giving guys some rest? 1 game lead over LA coming into tonight, but obviously Dodgers still have everything to play for and will be going all out for wins
