Amik Robertson saves the day with a UNT block FG as time expired. Jaylon Ferguson had a 4 sacks in the game with Bailey Hale going 5-5 on FGs

HUGE WIN but let's face it, we won despite the completely inept coaching of Holtz & Baker. Amik bailed them out big time. I will take it though. Amik & Jaylon are just carrying us on their back. Can you imagine how good this team would be if we had any of our past 3 QB's starting for us?

Scott Van Pelt with some opening love for Ruston and Tech. It was the catch and flip forward over the defender. The other plays were the big Odell like catches from the WRs from Sam Houston and Penn St

Wow. I listened to the first quarter on radio.

Tech is solidly in the driver's seat for the CUSA West. Don't drop the ball. This could be a season to remember for Tech fans.

I rarely gamble - but I did this week.
Took LSU and Louisiana Tech in a 2 game parlay. After watching both teams last week, I believe both are underrated.
LSU has a real shot at the playoffs and Louisiana Tech has a real shot at their conference championship game.
Funny thing, at times, the weaknesses for both teams are similar - too conservative play calling.
I trust LSU’s coaching staff more than Louisiana Tech’s. Tech has to get their D ready and not let so many points on the board out of the gate. It cost them against LSU
And the UNT QB can be on my team any day.

You are right about North Texas fans being cocky for no reason. This is a program that has really never done anything other than win the New Orleans Bowl & had Mean Joe Green play for them but they act like they are the next coming of Boise State. It really is strange.
