Just historically (for at least 25 years) a regular season program who chokes in the playoffs.

We were never as good as our record indicated. Just got scorching hot. Was told at the beginning of the year we would be the hunters not the hunters this year.

I mean.., they were regularly the 4-5th best team in their own district for years. You can’t really choke if that is the standard. Not really a great baseball school over that time period

That’s a pretty absurd take.
Catholic was 1-1 with both Dutchtown and St. Amant this season. 3-0 against Zachary and beat Sam Houston in the preseason.

Meh. They've had some decent regular season runs, but nothing to really think they were state championship locks. They put out some good college players. I think the rubber hits the road soon, though - they have a good freshman class coming up so they either need new blood now to make sure they don't screw it up or trust in what they have going for another 3-4 years.
They've performed about the same in basketball and football. Decent regular season runs but you knew they didn't have the guns to win it all. Only 1 team can win it all. But, maybe time to look at the athletic department as a whole or just be fine with having good teams, good academics, etc.

Don't understand this post. Wiz was head in 03. That 03 BM class had some good high school players that had started since 01. They ran up against Wade Leblanc and a really good Barbe team in 02 then got outslugged by EA in 03 (EA put up another 10 in the ship that year).
