I thought with Liberty moving up to FBS next year, they would be ineligible for post season and other things. I know when Coastal Carolina announced they were moving to FBS in 2017, they became an independent and didn't qualify for any national polls or playoffs.

Coastal was never ranked in the coaches poll. Looking further into it, they were ranked in the STATS FCS poll in which they finished the season 18th. They finished the season 10-2 but didn't make the playoffs. Now, they were Independent...did that have a affect on them regarding the playoffs?

Since Coastal was transitioning to FBS, I don't think they were eligible for the playoffs last year.

Coaches poll is never used STATS is the only poll recognized by FCS people and best indicator.

The MVC seems to be trying to make a point again in scheduling. I am not sure why the CAA and MVC don't schedule. You can never say the Valley teams suck people like the CAA and OVC.

UND seems a bit high to me. EWU is an interesting situation given the coaching changes this offseason.
