I'm pretty surprised by the #s here for SHSU and UCA...embarrassing.

Once hunting season starts, attendance at UCA games stops. Sam should be embarrassed by that number.

I didn't get to go to the game after all but the wife did. She said there were no students of any consequence at the game. First game of the season and there would be a couple of thousand in the seats on their side. UCA's student fan support is pretty dismal actually.

Isn't Sam a commuter campus? Half of their students don't even live there. I always heard they preferred to play on Thursdays because of that.

They averaged 7k a game this year in 4 home games, and they had over 12k at one of those games. Two others were around 5k.

New Hampshire (9-4) at No. 5 South Dakota State (10-2)

I am taking SDSU because well its a MVC school and UNH QB is hurt supposedly. I still do not think UNH should have been in but they have shut me up by winning 2 games.

Take JMU at home. Maybe another frigid game, like last years quarters were. I just think JMU is the best team in the country.

No 7. Wofford (10-2) at No. 2 North Dakota State (11-1)

Kickoff - 11 a.m. Saturday ESPN2

Players to Watch - Wofford: QB Brandon Goodson (69 of 124, 1,052 yards, 4 TDs, 1 INT; 268 rushing yards), FB Andre Stoddard (170 carries, 807 yards, 14 TDs), RB/PR Lennox McAfee (99 carries, 747 yards, 6 TDs), DE Tyler Vaughn (35 TT, 2 1/2 TFL, 3 QBH), DE Miles Brown (40 TT, 9 TFL, 3 Sacks), LB Colton Clemons (76 TT, 3 sacks, 2 takeaways); North Dakota State: QB Easton Stick (130 of 209, 1,992 yards, 20 TDs, 7 INTs; 547 rushing yards, 10 TDs), RB/KR Bruce Anderson (184 carries, 908 yards, 6 TDs), WR RJ Urzendowski (32 receptions, 517 yards, 8 TDs), LB Nick DeLuca (54 TT, 8 TFL, 4 1/2 sacks, 2 FF), S Robbie Grimsley (55 TT, 4 INTs, 6 PBU), S Tre Dempsey (40 TT, 5 INTs, 2 PBU)

Wofford may struggle on offense as NDSU has a great run defense. Loud crowd in Fargo Dome. I like NDSU in this one, but last year JMU beat NDSU at home in a semi.

Kennesaw State (12-1) at No. 6 Sam Houston State (11-1)

Kickoff - 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday

Players to Watch - Kennesaw State: QB Chandler Burks (69 of 141, 1,187 yards, 8 TDs, 2 INTs; 234 carries, 1,060 yards, 17 TDs), RB Jake McKenzie (148 carries, 688 yards, 3 TDs), WR Justin Sumpter (29 receptions, 534 yards, 5 TDs), LB Bryson Armstrong (109 TT, 11 sacks, 3 INTs, 4 FR), S Taylor Henkle (53 TT, 3 INTs, 2 FR), PK Justin Thompson (15 of 18 FG, 49 of 49 PAT); Sam Houston State: QB Jeremiah Briscoe (286 of 499, 4,398 yards, 41 TDs, 12 INTs), RB Corey Avery (155 carries, 939 yards, 13 TDs; 23 receptions), WR/RS Davion Davis (69 receptions, 1,121 yards, 17 TDs; 21 total TDs), WR Nathan Stewart (64 receptions, 1,485 yards, 12 TDs), NT P.J. Hall (44 TT, 17 TFL, 6 sacks, 6 PBU, 4 BK), LB Justin Johnson (89 TT, 4 sacks)

May end up being the best game, but the idiots at Disney and NCAA don't understand that people may want to watch this game. Contrast of styles Veer vs Chuck the ball. I want to say Sam, but I hate Sam. I want to say Kennesaw but think their luck is about up. Sam at home I suppose. Just irritated we can watch the best rushing offense in country vs best passing offense in country on regular tv.
