Just found out Rebowe is up for FCS COTY

Well deserved, but I'm thinking the coach at Austin Peay will get the award. He's definitely deserving of it.

It will be the guy from APSU, it has to be.

Did I not post the finalist for the awards? I apologize for that. I will do it tomorrow.

UNI @ South Dakota St

Players to Watch - Northern Iowa: QB Eli Dunne (198 of 322, 2,417 yards, 25 TDs, 10 INTs), RB Marcus Weymiller (187 carries, 750 yards, 8 TDs), WR Daurice Fountain (63 receptions, 915 yards, 11 TDs), LB Jared Farley (112 TT, 6 TFL, 5 PBU), S Elijah Campbell (46 TT, 5 INTs, 12 PBU); South Dakota State: QB Taryn Christion (199 of 332, 2,854 yards, 28 TDs, 7 INTs; 429 rushing yards, 7 TDs), TE Dallas Goedert (60 receptions, 966 yards, 5 TDs), WR Jake Wieneke (46 receptions, 670 yards, 13 TDs), DT Kellen Soulek (27 TT, 3 1/2 Sacks, 2 FF), LB Christian Rozeboom (107 TT, 7 TFL, 2 FR)

I like SDSU in the rematch. Hard to beat a team twice and SDSU had the week off. Winner plays the winner of UNH-UCA

Weber St at Southern Utah

Players to Watch - Weber State: QB Stefan Cantwell (183 of 289, 2,441 yards, 21 TDs, 5 INTs; 445 rushing yards, 6 TDs), TE Andrew Vollert (52 receptions, 669 yards, 4 TDs), WR Drew Batchelor (41 receptions, 448 yards, 7 TDs), LB LeGrand Toia (67 TT, 8 TFL, 5 Sacks), CB Taron Johnson (39 TT, 3 INTs, 8 PBU); Southern Utah: QB Patrick Tyler (224 of 344, 2,672 yards, 20 TDs, 12 INTs; 316 rushing yards, 5 TDs), RB James Felila (174 carries, 699 yards, 8 TDs), WR/PR Brady Measom (50 receptions, 596 yards, 4 TDs), LB Mike Needham (89 TT, 6 1/2 TFL, 6 PBU), CB Jermaine Doubs (44 TT, 4 INTs, 5 PBU)

Southern won the Sky and beat Weber by 16 last game. I like SUU in this one, just because Weber had to beat a very good WIU team and the rest, even though it goes against my theory of winning 2x in a year. Winner plays Stony Brook/JMU winner.

Stony Brook @ James Madison

Players to Watch - Stony Brook: QB Joe Carbone (189 of 327, 22 TDs, 3 INTs), TB Donald Liotine (145 carries, 694 yards, 10 TDs), TB Stacey Bedell (148 carries, 776 yards, 8 TDs), Rover Tyrice Beverette (86 TT, 10 1/2 TFL, 4 PBU), LB Shayne Lawless (84 TT, 6 Sacks, 2 FF); James Madison: QB Bryan Schor (192 of 280, 2,257 yards, 21 TDs, 11 INTs; 6 rushing TDs), RB Trai Sharpe (137 carries, 686 yards, 4 TDs), LT Aaron Stinnie, DE Andrew Ankrah (45 TT, 13 1/2 TFL, 7 1/2 Sacks), LB Kyrie Hawkins (78 TT, 7 Sacks, 8 PBU)

JMU should roll they are the best team in FCS this year. They beat Stony Brook last time they played. Winner plays the winner of Weber/SUU

South Dakota @ Sam Houston St

Players to Watch - South Dakota: QB Chris Streveler (283 of 427, 3,614 yards, 27 TDs, 6 INTs; 669 rushing yards, 10 TDs), RB Michael Frederick (137 carries, 694 yards, 7 TDs; 21 receptions), DE Darin Greenfield (57 TT, 18 1/2 TFL, 8 Sacks), DT Taylor Lambert (35 TT, 8 1/2 TFL, 4 1/2 Sacks), FS Andrew Gray (77 TT, 5 1/2 TFL, 5 PBU); Sam Houston State: QB Jeremiah Briscoe (258 of 456, 3,893 yards, 37 TDs, 11 INTs), RB Corey Avery (139 carries, 839 yards, 11 TDs; 21 receptions), WR/RS Davion Davis (61 receptions, 990 yards, 14 TDs; 2 punt return TDs), WR Nathan Stewart (57 receptions, 1,305 yards, 11 TDs), NT P.J. Hall (40 TT, 15 TFL, 6 Sacks, 4 BK)

First ever meeting of the programs. This game may set the scoreboard on fire. Both teams have great QB and great Offenses. I want to take USD, but I just do not see the Yotes winning on the road a 2nd straight week. Winner plays Jax St/Kennesaw.

San Diego @ North Dakota State

Players to Watch - San Diego: QB Anthony Lawrence (232 of 349, 3,024 yards, 33 TDs, 2 INTs), RB Emilio Martinez (184 carries, 1,011 yards, 10 TDs), WR Justin Priest (71 receptions, 1,047 yards, 13 TDs), TE Ross Dwelley (47 receptions, 636 yards, 10 TDs), DE Jonathan Petersen (43 TT, 22 1/2 TFL, 15 Sacks, 6 FF); North Dakota State: QB Easton Stick (121 of 193, 1,821 yards, 17 TDs, 7 INTs; 493 rushing yards, 9 TDs), RB/KR Bruce Anderson (170 carries, 796 yards, 6 TDs), LB Nick DeLuca (51 TT, 6 TFL, 2 FF), S Robbie Grimsley (50 TT, 4 INTs, 5 PBU), S Tre Dempsey (36 TT, 5 INTs, 2 PBU)

Torreros have no chance, in my opinion. They played last year in this same round and it was 45-7. Winner plays Furman/Wofford

Furman @ Wofford

Players to Watch - Furman: QB P.J. Blazejowski (124 of 203, 2,204 yards, 18 TDs, 5 INTs), RB Antonio Wilcox (150 carries, 790 yards, 14 TDs), TE Andy Schumpert (27 receptions, 572 yards, 9 TDs), LB Reynard Ellis (79 TT, 5 TFL, 2 Sacks), S Aaquil Annoor (60 TT, 2 INTs, 2 FF); Wofford: QB Brandon Goodson (61 of 113, 964 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT; 234 rushing yards), FB Andre Stoddard (153 carries, 743 yards, 14 TDs), RB/PR Lennox McAfee (90 carries, 649 yards, 6 TDs), DE Tyler Vaughn (35 TT, 3 QBH), DE Miles Brown (38 TT, 9 TFL, 3 Sacks)

Rivalry game. Furman went for 2 and the win in September and lost the game. I said earlier it is hard to beat a team two times in a year, so I am going to stick to that theory. I like the Paladins. Winner plays NDSU/USD.

Kennesaw St @ Jacksonville St

Players to Watch - Kennesaw State: QB Chandler Burks (61 of 128, 1,061 yards, 8 TDs, 2 INTs; 215 carries, 984 yards, 16 TDs), RB Jake McKenzie (136 carries, 654 yards, 3 TDs), WR Justin Sumpter (26 receptions, 489 yards, 5 TDs), LB Bryson Armstrong (98 TT, 10 Sacks, 4 FR, 3 FF), S Taylor Henkle (48 TT, 3 INTs, 2 FR); Jacksonville State: QB Bryant Horn (99 of 183, 1,288 yards, 11 TDs, 9 INTs; 130 carries, 709 yards, 5 TDs), RB Roc Thomas (161 carries, 991 yards, 12 TDs; 16 receptions, 235 yards); DE Darius Jackson (51 TT, 19 TFL, 7 Sacks, 19 QBH), LB Jonathan Hagler (73 TT, 11 TFL, 9 PD), S Marlon Bridges (75 TT, 6 TFL, 3 INTs)

I like Jax St just a bigger and better team. Jax St is building a nice program Grass has done it with transfers. They are now believing they can win the whole thing. Preview of first game next season to be held in SunTrust field.

Winner plays USD/Sam

New Hampshire @ Central Arkansas

Players to Watch - New Hampshire: QB Trevor Knight (265 of 423, 3,150 yards, 24 TDs, 7 INTs), WR Neil O'Connor (91 receptions, 1,341 yards, 10 TDs), DT Rick Holt (63 TT, 6 1/2 Sacks, 2 FF), LB Quinlen Dean (113 TT, 11 TFL, 2 INTs), CB Prince Smith Jr. (48 TT, 8 PBU); Central Arkansas: QB Hayden Hildebrand (180 of 269, 2,768 yards, 27 TDs, 7 INTs), RB Kierre Crossley (146 carries, 770 yards, 4 TDs), RB Carlos Blackman (162 carries, 702 yards, 9 TDs), LB George Odum (106 TT, 8 TFL, 4 Sacks), CB/PR Tremon Smith (34 TT, 5 INTs, 10 PBU)

First meeting ever between the schools. UNH should not be in the field and then got a break by hosting? Well the time for reckoning is here and UCA should score on UNH with that offense that is very lethal. UCA has 35 plus sacks this year as well.

Winner plays UNI/SDSU

You sure did. We discussed UNH getting benefit. You said McNeese didn’t belong which I understood. But UNH was the one nobody understood I still don’t think they belonged but they’ve earned this Qtr Final.
