Has it really been that long? Damn.

2002, against Villanova in the semifinals.
We've been snake bit since then. Started with the drubbing by Western Kentucky in the regular season rematch.

According to the committee chair they are down to 6 spots remaining with a pool of 10 teams. I’m pretty sure that Nicholls is one of those 10 teams, let’s geaux colonels!

Using this bracket where can Nicholls go?
I will put X by where possible
McNeese @ Eastern Washington, winner plays 1. James Madison
Central Connecticut St @ Stony Brook, winner plays 8. Western Illinois
Kennesaw St @ South Dakota, winner plays 4. North Dakota St
X-Northern Arizona @ Southern Utah, winner Plays 5. Sam Houston St
Furman @ Samford, winner plays 2. Jacksonville St
San Diego @ Elon, winner plays 7. Wofford
Illinois St @ X-New Hampshire, winner plays 3. Central Arkansas
Colgate @ Weber St, winner plays 6. South Dakota St
There’s 2 spots replacing NAU who lost but finished 2nd in Sky or legit replace UNH who lost today

I’m just relaying what I know I’ve heard. Nicholls is very much alive and I don’t think mcneese also has to be in for Nicholls to make it. Mcneese might be in without Nicholls but I do know if that happens there will be a lot of hell raised in the southland
Posted on 11/18/17 at 10:27 pm to sms151t
It might very well end up happening but I know for a fact that the southland commissioner will not allow mcneese to get in over Nicholls if the southland will be only a three team league if he can help it. He might end up getting overruled and he wants all four to get in, but I know he doesn’t want mcneese in st the expense of Nicholls as it would be a bad look for the majority of the conference’s perspective.

Brad Teague is the rep from SLC so he’s seen McNeese and is smart guy

I know, he wants mcneese in too. If it’s up to him I don’t think it’ll be mcneese and not Nicholls though. I have a feeling both teams have a decent shot come tomorrow morning.

Monmouth doesn’t deserve in neither does New Hampshire
