He killed us so regularly.
I think mine was him making the FTs after his achilles exploded.

Man the Lakers vs. Suns battles were so special in the mid 2000s. We had wars Jack. Kobe vs. Raja Bell aka the Kobe Stopper. Those were my fondest memories as a middle schooler playing b ball

His final game. The Achilles FT.

Also seeing him drain the clutch 3 to put the Pels away in person in February of 2016. The Pels are my favorite team, but Kobe was my all time favorite athlete for his attention to detail. That sequence was poetic for what he preached. He got dunked on the possession before, but he just marched down the court and stuck the dagger to the Pels.

“He’s crazy, but he’s not that crazy,” Bryant said, alluding to Barnes’ reputation as an emotional and physical defender. “So I didn’t bother flinching.”

Bryant’s reaction soon became an Internet sensation and furthered his legend as an unfazed competitor. Yet, Bryant recalled Barnes’ reaction that many have echoed: “It’s human nature to flinch.”

Yet, Bryant offered a simple explanation for his stoic reaction.

“It was a split second and I processed it pretty quickly,” Bryant said. “I realized he wasn’t going to do it. We laughed and joked about it a lot when he played together.”

Laker fan here, the Phoenix game winner was the first one that came to mind for me as well.

Also the jubilation he had winning his 4th title in 09 vs Orlando, first title without Shaq.

Kobe dunk against timberwolves 2003 playoffs

you’re simply just not supposed to be able to do shite like this. he made it look so easy.

though my favorite memory of his was when my mavs swept him and the defending champion lakers on their way to a championship. as a mavs fan it just made the whole thing more special, being able to beat 2 of the best players to ever play the game in Kobe and Lebron.

Gotta be his last ever game when he scored 61. Kobe was the 1 person that made me fall in love with the gamr of basketball.

I was in my room so yelling around and jumping as he kept scoring. Almost shedded a tear as he walked off the court.
Definitely shed a few today. You will be missed Mamba

If I had to pick one moment it would have to be when he was guarding Matt Barnes who was inbounding the ball. Barnes faked like he was firing it right at Kobe’s face and he never flinched. Demonstrated his fearlessness to me.

He started off so poorly that final game. It was crazy how he just turned back the clock that one last time and willed the Lakers to victory
