I used to despise Tyson when he was in his prime. Same with Ali. However in hindsight, they are my two favorites.
The days of Ali, Frazier, Norton, Foreman, where my favorites and boxing by far.

oing back in time, Foreman is seriously underrated. Most people remember the old Foreman, but when I saw his younger fights (from before I was born) I am a huge fan.
Ali, I don't know how anyone could dislike him. When Hearns, Leonard, Hagler and Duran were all fighting each other, that may have been the greatest series of fights, and I like all those guys...for different reasons
This sums it up for me. I'm old enough to actually remember all of those fights.

Pound for pound this guy was one of the greatest, surprised to not see his name mentioned here yet.

Chávez holds the records for the most total successful defenses of world titles (27, shared with Omar Narváez), most title fight victories (31), and most title fights (37); he has the second most title defenses won by knockout (21, after Joe Louis with 23). His fight record was 89 wins, 0 losses, and 1 draw before his first professional loss to Frankie Randall in 1994, before which he had an 87-fight win streak until his draw with Pernell Whitaker in 1993. Chávez's 1993 win over Greg Haugen at the Estadio Azteca set the record for the largest attendance for a boxing match: 132,274.

He was great, but his record is hugely inflated. Half of his wins were against Tijuana cab drivers.

Genki Sudo.
A close second is Mike Zambidis. Pound for pound, one of the hardest punchers of all time.

I think the correct answer is "you're right, I'm a moron for thinking Vitali Klitschko is the most dominant fighter of all time. I'm a dumbass, and should feel bad."
