I love when people bring up 2001 Miami they also bring up Sean Taylor
In 2001 Sean Taylor was a freshman and had 26 tackles on the year.
LSU by 14+ over 2001 Miami

He was on the field and played defensive snaps. Does that not count?

The complexity of schemes from 2001 to 2019 is night and day. 2001 Miami needed a missed FGA to beat Va. Tech (26-24) and a fluky pick six on the last play of the game to beat a bad BC team. I am not saying LSU would steam roll them by 40, but I would confidenly bet that if they played ten times, LSU would win at least seven.

2020 Bama doesn't get enough credit on here. 3 top 5 Heisman finalists and won every meaningful game by at least 15 points. Plus they would have a major coaching advantage.
Also I have to put my bias aside for 2013 FSU. I think every single starter was eventually drafted.

2008 Florida lost a game. Sorry, if you want GOAT status you can’t drop one.

You've posted 10 times in this thread and each one gets more dumb.

2019 LSU and 2020 Bama steamroll everyone in their respective brackets here.

How is a pandemic team in the top eight?

Nebraska 95 is the greatest team of all time anyways..
1995 Nebraska did not have an NFL arm or receivers who were even invited to an NFL camp. They were a one-dimensional I formation downhill running team mixed with some belly and speed option.
Osborne’s offense struggled against physical defenses, which Nebraska didn’t face in 1995. That’s why he had an abysmal record against Barry Switzer and in bowl games, including a seven game losing streak.
Defenses like 2011 Alabama and 2021 Georgia (with a bunch of NFL ready players backed by elite coaching) would stuff their running game. Nebraska’s offense was ideal against the shitty Big 8 (with OU at rock bottom) and a soft pre-Stoops Florida defense.
Nebraska rarely had success against defenses that could match their physicality. And most of Osborne’s best offensive talent was from the early ‘80s, not mid ‘90s. Turner Gill, Mike Rozier, Roger Craig, Tom Rathman, Irving Fryar, Dave Rimington, Dean Steinkuhler.
Those guys were studs too that would have walked through 1995 Nebraska’s schedule. Terrible OU? No OOC opponent with more than six wins? No Miami? No FSU? No Orange Bowl stadium? Pass happy bowl opponent with no familiarity with their offense?
Cakewalk.

Yeah it's not like Kansas St had the #1 defense and #1 rush defense in the nation(In spite of Nebraska putting up 50 on them). Frazier threw for 4 TDs that game btw

What legends of the gridiron were on the 1995 K-State defense?
Any of the Selmon Bros.? Tony Casillas? Brian Bosworth? Steve Emtman? Cortez Kennedy? Michael Barrow? Deion Sanders? Derrick Brooks? Warren Sapp? Ray Lewis?
Anyone like that?
Those were the type of players on the defenses Osborne regularly faced from 1973-1994.
It was not the shitty Big 8 teams that gave Osborne trouble. Osborne was 25-0 against KSU for his career, and their 1995 D had one player drafted in the first round from 1996-1999 and he was a DB.
It was elite talent on defense combined with coaches familiar with the Nebraska style that gave Osborne fits. The 1995 team did not face the same caliber of defensive talent and competence as previous Husker teams.

Championship would be 20 Bama vs. 19 LSU
I’ll take 19 LSU in that one but 21 UGA would beat both.
