Serious question: does yesterday count in the statistics as a Matt Ryan "4th quarter comeback?"
Led a game winning 2 minute drive while trailing. What else would you call that?

Overtime. Bailed out by a pick-six.

That sounds more worrisome than impressive from an Atlanta fans perspective.

Sorry, game leading*
I wouldn't call a pick 6 in overtime "bailed out".

To me that doesn't bode well
Good teams win close games and the Falcons may be the best in the league
But it's not that 5-0 running over everyone frick you start that makes me want to lick them in to the super bowl right now
Packers Falcons could be an epic NFC title game though

Is being bailed out by the pick 6 equivalent to being bailed out by a Colston fumble in OT?

I mean, at this point how can anyone complain about 5-0? We won 6 games last season. Who gives a frick how we look doing it?
With a first year head coach, this is better than anyone could have hoped.

falcons are awesome, there's no doubt and the redskins are a good football team and winning those close ones is what makes playoff teams and even championship teams
they're a top 5 team right now at worst

I guess the only clarification I'm making is they're not on some war path through the NFC, you see those teams from time to time like the bucs and raiders in 02 or the saints in 09...I think the falcons are super legit, made a great hire, and it's a perfect situation.
they're a lock to win the division, but they were before the season started. and it helps when your college team is on a down year too but my team is on a down year every year

you know how I can confirm I just don't like the nfl as much anymore rather than a waning interest because the saints have sucked
I can't even bother to hate the falcons...I found myself indifferent as to the result. I turned on the game because overtime why not. and I also just knew the falcons would win on a pick 6, but I didn't care. I didn't want captain cap teeth to die of aids, I even found myself saying "good for that guy" sad state of affairs

Yeah and on Thursday night we will be one of the worst 6-0 teams in nfl history. Damn what a shame
Posted on 10/12/15 at 10:24 am to rockchlkjayhku11
Not that I particularly care but this has the writings of a trap game. I don't know why it's the better team that suffers on a Thursday night. I think it's close and the Falcons pull it out
I want the Falcons to win. Want the saints picking high

There was a push in the back penalty on the interception, it should have not been a TD.

Falcons have a great team despite some flaws.
Able to go max protect and Julio can still get open

That was going to be a TD regardless and the last thing an NFL game needs is another penalty on a big play that had no fricking effect on the outcome of the play
Posted on 10/12/15 at 10:29 am to DelU249
Will smith could've been called for a block in the back when manning threw a pick 6 in the super bowl.

I didn't want them to play in a Super Bowl in our stadium in our Bountygate year. I savored the NFC Championship game for months.
Last year pissed me off when they crowned their own asses after they beat the Saints in the Superdome week 15. So it was beautiful when the Panthers curb-stomped them in the Georgia Dome a week later.
This year really is a "whatever" feeling because the Saints don't matter. I wouldn't even care if somehow the NFL found a way to let the Falcons and Cowboys play each other in the Super Bowl and Roger Goodell declared them both winners.

I think the saints could be 5-0 and I'd be turned off. But whatever
