It was only Sanchez's third pass and he threw a pick to a rookie defensive lineman.

Why is he in the NFL exactly?

Just when I'd completely forgot about the guy. I wonder where all the folks that were saying he was going to be a serviceable QB have gone.

USC bias. USC quarterbacks automatically get hyped by the talking heads like Kiper/McShay.

Even though none of them have panned out in the NFL.

Remember how Jets fans celebrated and rejoiced when they drafted him?

Carson Palmer was doing well pre-injury.

To be fair, he had a bad thumb injury. That can be tough to come back from. Kurt Warner almost didn't.

Didnt know that, either way he was garbage and never really going to be a real starter in the NFL.

McElroy is a smart QB but he doesn't have the arm strength to succeed in the NFL. He'll be a college football analyst on ESPN within the next few years.

Or an Offensive Coordinator.

Exactly how you draw it up.

Backpedal, let it go off your back foot, hit your guy in stride.

I remember one some publication did a write up on how USC players were doing so well and LSU players were a bust a couple years ago when Sanchez first came out.

He was throwing to the tight end who got pushed down. or trying to. Sometimes it is better to pull a Jim Everett than attempting a throw.
