Or just a typical butt hurt fan from the SEC.

This should actually be titled "NO Evidence of Cam Newton's Growth & Maturity". If you think he is mature at all in any way you are a certified idiot.

This guy sounds smart

then learn to either slide or have an easier throwing motion.

I think if the Panther's O-line improves, Cam's throwing and mechanics will improve.

Cam is an inconsistent passer making him an average QB. He's around 13-14 of guys I'd take

I'd say this is about right. He's right in the middle of the pack of all 32 QBs. He has A future in the NFL, but he's not THE future.

Pretty much.

I'm interested to see what Cam Newton does next year if the Carolina Panthers decide to build an offense around him, mainly by adding play-makers. Mike Shula appears to be staying (negative), but hopefully next year he will be better and more healthy.

People like to forget that he had off-season ankle surgery, missed the off-season, fractured ribs during the preseason, got into a car wreck late in the year, and had an offense full of new/mediocre talent...and Carolina still won the division for the second consecutive season, while also winning a playoff game.

While I don't quite agree with the last two sentences, I will admit that Cam really has matured a lot.

Have an upvote.

but there's a good chance that Carolina runs the South for the next five years.

the only way they'd have a chance to do that is if every other team had a shitty year(s) like this past season.

what Carolina did down the stretch wasn't impressive. They beat bad teams and then won a playoff game against a team on its 3rd string QB. And they even did a few things in that game to help Arizona stay in that game.

I do think carolina has drafted well recently though.

They've had to because their cap situation has been sketchy.

Does he still pretend he's an airplane and fly around the field?

Does he still do that superman celebration?

Act an arse after every first down?

The Dan Patrick interview with Cam on that page was good. He does seem more genuine than he did earlier in his career.
