"Every Big Ten athletic director was in favor of playing a fall football season."

Warren played the Wizard of Oz. He kept the college presidents on one Zoom array. Kept the athletic directors on another. And kept the medical professionals on another.
However -
And
No damn wonder Kevin Warren does't want to answer questions.

Warren was aware, for example, that every Big Ten athletic director was in favor of playing a fall football season. Moos said he, Ohio State's, Penn State's and Michigan’s A.D.s pushed hardest, but there was unanimous agreement, Moos said, in wanting to play.
However -

the presidents and chancellors weren’t in the same Zoom meetings as athletic directors. Athletic directors weren’t in the same Zoom meetings as medical personnel, either.
And

Seasoned athletic veterans like Moos, Wisconsin’s Barry Alvarez, Penn State’s Sandy Barbour and Ohio State’s Gene Smith were left out of key discussions that shaped the league’s decisions.
No damn wonder Kevin Warren does't want to answer questions.

I don't know, man. He is just the fall guy for the presidents. It's similar to Goodell.

The mighty Big 10 as in Warren, the dude everyone wants fired?

Why didn't the ADs and Presidents already have a unified position for their universities? That seems about as basic and fundamental as it gets. None of that makes any sense other than ADs trying to save face with their coaches and players.

This was Warren's monumental blunder. He ramrodded it through. He owns it.

So now they are trying to roll on warren.
I’m supposed to believe that the president and athletic director of the same school can’t get on the phone and get on the same page?

Nice try, but Kevin Warren is toast.

Ok but that doesn’t answer how the ad and President of 14 schools apparently can’t use a phone to talk to each other

Not sure what exactly happened but I’d be willing to bet the presidents are realizing Warren was a piss poor hire simply off how badly he’s handled the entire thing.

Did you read the article? Some did.
This wasn't pitched as the final meeting that would culminate in a vote. Warren finessed the whole thing. And there was no vote. It was a con job.

This is clearly presidents and ADs covering their arse now that they see the backlash. They are Warren's boss. If they wanted a season, there would be a season.

“I think Ohio State had a chance to win the national championship,” Moos said. “Gene (Smith) even said, ‘I’m going to cut to the chase: I’ve got a national championship contender here.’ And they’re not going to get to do that now. I don’t know if their fans were as adamant about the season;I’m going to guess they were.

Why does it always seem ADs and Presidents don't like each other and are always butting heads. You see it schools constantly. Two people on campus who should see eye to eye for mutual success.

Nonsense.
This is the admins and AD's exposed for being swindled/steamrolled by Warren - and looking kinda stupid.
Stay tuned. This thing isn't over.
