I know the Lt. Governor carries a lot of weight in TX -particularly on the budget and in the Senate - but cutting off the two biggest schools completely? Aside from being unfeasible how many constituents would you be pissing off in your own state if you did that?
the controller the entire budget not just the education funds

This was a good read. It sucks that college football is so corporate now. That good old fashioned regional hate and win at all costs attitude is what gave the sport its soul

Houston is way better positioned to be a good Big 12 big 3 AD than Baylor is. Had they gotten in, The conference is likely much stronger
