the whole concept behind talking heads and sports has become so lazy. the level of analysis is insulting to anyone who ever played competitive sports.

When he started he wasn't that bad, but the dude tries to act like a badass these days. He's fake as hell.

The other networks have to be licking their chops to hire the talent ESPN is cutting. Seriously, if they're dropping guys like Russillo and Kanell and keeping the Jamelle Hills and continuing to push womens sports, gay and minority issues, then the other networks should pounce on this opportunity.

Remember before they got Schefter, they tried to make Michael Smith an NFL insider? He was garbage.

I only really see the commercials on in bars and restauraunts and just in those snippets I couldn't say GN is wrong. It's obvious what demo ESPN has completely gone in for.

I am absolutely right

I work in this industry and know what demo trends networks go after. I worked directly with Comcast in Seattle. I know what demo cut the cord and what demos dont. I work in broadcast but geez I just got done working with the station I am at now on an anti-Cable presentation.

I'd bet he's good friends with a number of these people who are getting laid off and wants to respect them

once things settle down he may chime in

Completely agree. He tries to act so tough nowadays, it's really hilarious. We all know you're not Michael.

I work in TV and it's true that blacks are far more likely to have cable these days and not cut the cord. It's whites who are doing the cord cutting

Assuming you're correct, why are you complaining about this being a race thing?

If there is no demand for the product, they'll stop stocking the product. There is no malevolent agenda here. If you want the hockey guys on, watch the hockey guys.
