Sounds like a network nightly news telecast

That or some generic cable action/adventure series theme.

The only complaint about CBS that was legit were the amount of commercials but everyone has caught up to them in that regard.
And that when LSU is good, we lost a bunch of night games at home because of CBS’ 2:30 time slot

They need to bring back the old ABC theme from the '90s and early 2000s which was the GOAT.

I like the old version with the drums better. The college band drums will just always scream college football to me. New version is lame.

Texas featured prominently in that shite and have yet to win a game as an SEC member.

Who’s calling the SEC feature games this year? If it’s not Fowler and Herbstreit, we will pine for the 2:30 CBS slot and Verne and Gary by the end of the decade, maybe the year.

I would imagine its Chris and Kirk for the big night game, besides them we have Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy and after that who the hell knows.

The original version with the drums was superior IMO.

Are they using the old SEC on CBS music for the Big Ten?

So many on this board seemed to celebrate the ending of the SEC-CBS relationship but what you said is what I knew we’d all miss when the change was made. ESPN’s productions are fine but very sterile and cookie cutter. CBS’ production was class. I loved all their crowd and stadium shots. The only complaint about CBS that was legit were the amount of commercials but everyone has caught up to them in that regard.

I do agree with this sentiment but LSU’s biggest home games basically now are a lock to always be night games(just look at this season’s time slots) pretty much makes the trade off worth it. Not sure if other fanbases in the conference care as much about home night games though

Nothing dramatic. Music is bland, corporate crap.
