Honestly I went into this whole deal saying "Waco is a fricked up place, no big surprise" but I've slowly grown more and more skeptical about what it is we're supposed to believe.
Briles doesn't really help himself, so I don't necessarily want to defend him. But I wish someone would ask David, "you said you wouldn't hire him, why?" I guarantee he'd have to give a vague, non-specific answer. The whole thing is built on inferences.
