Branding themselves as ESPN bet never made sense to me. Being a sports book with exclusive advertising and lines with the biggest live sports network does.
But it’s always going to be about customer experience. I don’t think anyone gives a shite about brand loyalty, it’s about who has the best and most lines and a good user experience

Not to mention that you have to be careful of how big of a parlay you hit using their promos. They will pull your promos in a heartbeat if they catch you doing too well with them. They started doing mass promo pulls a few months ago and once I saw that I knew they were done for.

I wonder if it has more to do with the deal with the NFL to aquire the NFL Network in exchange for the NFL getting a 10% stake in ESPN. It would be a bad look for the league to actually own 10% of a company with its name on a Sports book.
