What if Fuhrman never did those tapes and testified?
The jury was going to let him go regardless.
You can create doubt, for those who want to believe in doubt, in any small way.
Look, they ripped up Ron Shipp, the black guy. And the jury bought it.
Cochran could have told the jury that Elvis was still alive and in the next room, and they would have belived him.
Cochran and OJ were stars.
The jury got "OJed" as was mentioned others were that got around him.

I know it's probably been brought up, but what was Robert Kardashian's role as part of the defense?

Can someone remind me what was the states theory of why OJ was behind the house where the glove was found?

Wasn't he trying to avoid being spotted walking into the house by the limo driver waiting to take him to the airport?

I think he dumped the knife and bloody clothes in the Pacific Ocean, then joined the defense team in token fashion in order to not have to testify.

Yes. That was obvious to everyone, but the jury. If you know his property, OJ lived on a corner lot, I'm guessing the lot was about a 1/2 acre to acre in size. There were 2 entrances to his house, one off each street. Plus there was a wall that surrounded the lot that set off the road about 10 feet, which would obstruct the view of each entrance from the other entrance.
OJ knew that the limo driver would be at the Ashford entrance and thus he came up and parked at the Rockingham entrance and jumped the fence and ran inside in a back entrance.

In essence that was the issue. Cochrane had to come up with an explantion for everything and Clark didn't have the ability to explain away anything.
What is the more offensive aspect to me about this documentary is the cops and prosecutors who completely botched the investigation and the trial are talking shite about the defense team. I get the Goldman family being pissed, but the prosecutors can suck it. Their righteous indignation today is patently offensive.
The defense did their job and the LAPD and the DA botched it in epic fashion.

Robert Kardashian wasn't even practicing law any more when this happened. Since he was OJ's friend & was around him when the murders happened he could have been potentially called to testify & the things he could say would not benefit OJ at all if you know what I mean. So he got his law license back & "joined" the defense team so he wouldn't have to testify against OJ.
Just think...If OJ had not killed Nicole & Ron there is no way the Kardashian family would be what they are today.........

Maybe, but it still had to be unanimous. That is the part that goes unnoticed by many. You can blame the blacks on the jury for ignoring justice and using their position to retaliate for Rodney King and years of injustice in their eyes, but how do you excuse the rest of the jurors?
There were 8 blacks, 2 hispanics, and 2 caucasians. Voting "not guilty" for purely racial motivations, as dishonorable as it may be, is slightly more honorable than voting "not guilty" out of convenience and in an effort to just go home. I fully believe this is where the prosecution fricked up. You can argue, and you're probably right, that the prosecution could never convince the majority of jurors to convict, but all they needed was one of the 4 four non-black jurors to stand their ground in order to get a mistrial. Present them a rock solid case and they would have done so. Every frick up during the trial made it less and less likely an unbiased juror was going to hold firm to a guilty vote.

I think there's more to it than "Oh they just happened to find the 12 most guillible idiots alive and put them all on the same jury".
I mean, everyone acts like the jurors were just knuckle dragging retards. Really? All of them? I find it hard to believe everyone talking about it now 20 years later is SO much smarter and observant than they are/were.
The people calling them out have the benefit of hindsight and clarity that was not present at the time. To everyone saying they would have been the hold out on the jury, I would say that's easy to claim now.

I will pause it and fap!
But, seriously, I think juror #2 was pretty reasonable. She maybe got caught up in the attorneys' style too much versus substance, but she thought Furman seemed trustworthy until the tapes and things surfaced. Him, Vanatter, and the asian dude's mistakes would have been tough for me to accept. And how did that gate have blood drops one month, and not the next?
Now, even if they had an air tight case, they were never going to overcome someone like Juror #9.

Yes, Kardashian renewed his law license and joined the defense to protect anything he knew from being used in the trial.
Shapiro also wanted him on the team to be the "OJ wrangler".
Apparently OJ wanted to be VERY involved in the defense strategy and tactics and had lots of ideas. Kardashian's job was to "handle" OJ.
OJ was adamant about testifying in his defense and Kardashian had to go so far as to get a female lawyer to come in and do a mock cross examination of OJ just to prove to him how badly that would go for him.
PS - News came out yesterday that OJ has agreed to take a paternity test to see if he is the father of Khloe Kardahian.

If OJ agreed to a paternity test, then he's basically agreeing that he banged momma Kardashian (who we knew was a whore anyway).
