I think there is some truth to that, and I've said as much in this thread, but I genuinely think there were a lot of people who truly thought OJ was innocent. Consider the times, the fact that Fuhrman admitted to planting evidence in the past, the fact that OJ was a very likable guy in the public eye - all of that played into it. It wouldn't take much effort to entertain the idea that the LAPD tried to frame OJ, and once that idea was planted, it was all they needed for reasonable doubt.

I cant really tell you how stupid that post is. The victims blood is in the guys car and house. The people whipped up the emotion to the point where the facts didnt matter. The victims blood is inside the mans house.

The defense team methodically picked off every witness the prosecution had by using questions that they already knew the answer to undermine their credibility.
The drinking & supposed womanizing with Shipp
The racist tirades on tape by Fuhrman which proved he's a liar.
The bumbling Fung who was working a murder scene without latex gloves on.
The detective that used a blanket from inside the home that could've had any number of peoples DNA on it.
The Moron that takes a blood sample from Simpson to the actual crime scene as they are working it and recovering evidence.
Add on top of all that Darden makes a boneheaded mistake of asking for the gloves to tried on.
I am no lawyer but I have to assume that this case is still used to teach both lawyers and police forces to this day on both what to do and what not to do.

There are just fundamentally two kinds of people. People that believe its easy to plant and tranport evidence and people that understand its not possible. The same people that think the system has railroaded Steve Avery are OJ truthers. It is abolutely impossible to take victims blood and plant it at several different locations without destroying it. Its just absurd.

OJ truthers must think this Fuhrman is like an evil genius lex luther. I mean is he caring an igloo cooler to preserve blood at the crime scene on the drive to OKs house? Its simply scientifically absurd. Hes swipping gloves sneaking them on a crime scene going back later and adding OJs EDTA blood on everything. Hes a police officer who let some lady make an audio recording about how he loves killing black people. He is not a bright man.

It is the responsibility of the prosecution and the investigation to make sure there are as few holes for the defense to exploit as possible. This case was full of holes

I'm not saying it was an intelligent decision. I'm explaining why it happened. To get a not guilty verdict you needed two things:
1) Whip up the racial tensions and emotions as much as possible
2) Give them them even the most improbable alternative theory to use as an out

yeah... that's the part that got me... the prosecution basically told him "here's a list of people who will back you up"... then they saw how he got destroyed on cross and none wanted to help him out anymore

Those jurors are on the DA. They also had to get the rest of the jury to come to their side. It wasn't an all black jury. They could have had a hung jury. You may argue that the others just gave in, but if the prosecution argues the case properly, they would have had more conviction with their guilty deliberation and votes.
There were some crooked arse people on that jury that use the case as payback for King, but the not guilty verdict was more complicated than that.
