AD just got traded to the most dysfunctional organization in basketball.
The Lakers players just got traded from the most dysfunctional organization in basketball to an organization with a new top to bottom, more or less.
You act like I can’t call the Lakers a shitty operation because the Pels had also been a shitty operation previously. Why?

They’re not mutually exclusive concepts.
And the Pels have new leadership. The point is that it’s very important that they use this opportunity to establish a foundation within the organization and show the players coming in from LA that the fricking mess they’re departing is not the norm across the league. The pitfalls of the previous leadership are irrelevant right now. They have a clean slate.

Believe me, we are the experts now. We have a man in charge who didnt think to negotiate a potentially franchise defining piece of filing and paperwork

That's a pretty big miscue.
Reminds me of the Klay FT situation after the injury the other day. Wasn't until after he was way into the tunnel that someone alerted them that he should take those FTs first, just in case.
Now obviously that was a much much smaller scale, and that was also in the heat of the moment. Idk how the hell a GM did not know that. Probably learned at the same time we did on espn.

I am convinced they are going to find some way to agree to prolong it. Both teams gain cap space by it, and pelinka legit may get fired if its not corrected

bc it depends if lake show can get a FA to sign by July 6. if not, deal goes through. if they do get a FA, pels wait until 30th. that's the agreement
