Jay Williams really is one of the worst but scrolling this thread shows how horrible ESPN really is. Live sports is the only reason to ever watch the channel.

Podcasts, Youtube, Streaming,etc..aren't just kicking Major Broadcast Network TV's @ss..

It's obviously mauling ESPN's suicidal @ss too!

Thank God, that they still have all of you folk's Disney dollars from your rugrat's obsessions of Frozen, Lion King, etc. Also, you "grown ups" that will go to Orlando childless..

RIP..ESPN/CNNSI of 1980-2005

Hallelujah for MLBNet, VSiN, Pods,TVG, etc..that actually cover and discuss the actual games/events.

P.S. Still PO'd about cancelling only ESPN radio I ever listened to with regularity..SVP & Rusillo & Stanford Steve.

When is ESPN going to bring in some fresh voices? Hire some people from outside the network! Recycling trash and seeing if it works is a losing game plan. ESPN keeps sinking to new lows. I cant tell you the last time i listened to, or watched anything on ESPN.

Such a joke of a network

They are absolutely hastening their own demise.

And they have all their talking heads all begging for the stoppage of all sports which will cost many of their jobs eventually if it happens. Ironic but they are making their own bed.

“The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz” is a program that ESPN executives have discussed taking off of radio, but now will likely survive — though it could lose an hour.

How is this possible. I don't love Lebatard but damn at least that show is funny occasionally. The rest of that lineup is actual dog shite.

The Le Batard show is the best thing they've had going for them for a long time.

It ventures in to far left territory, especially of late, but it is the most fun I have listening to a program.

The rest of the lineup is awful, and the changes they're making doesn't give me a lot of confidence it'll get better anytime soon.

Is someone purposefully trying to tank ESPN again? Where's Jemelle Hill's time slot?

Ratings dropping too far to justify their paychecks. They were bad before. Now they have nothing to talk about and their suckage shows way more.

Might as well throw some cheaper suckage out there and see what happens since the ratings are already sinking.

I agree. I really enjoy it and listen daily. It can get a little too political at times (Dan), but he's usually interrupted by Mike when it happens.

I actually enjoy listening to the Lour with the shipping container more than Dan & I'm glad they let them interact more on the national show. The show has gotten better since they've allowed Dan, Stu and Mike back in studio and it'll be back to normal when everyone else is back in.

ESPN radio moving on from Mike Golic is end of an era

You didn’t need to hear what they said, but if you did it was comfortable and easy. For what ESPN wanted to be for so long, they were ideal for a 20-minute commute from suburbia.

“Mike & Mike” broke up three years ago and ESPN Radio lost its anchor. It tried to replace Greenberg with Trey Wingo and it didn’t work.

In the mornings, it has thrown together a trio with Keyshawn Johnson, Jay Williams and Zubin Mehenti as its new show that begins in mid-August. It hopes it does better than “Golic & Wingo,” which will have its final program at the end of this month.

The combo that a few rival execs did not want to see from ESPN in the morning was Keyshawn & Max.
