He’s tested positive before so he gets tested more. It’s not hard to figure out. The league isn’t allowed to reveal a first time positive.

this. i think he just accidentally revealed that he's in the program already.

you'd think every reporter would be asking him if he's ever failed a test. he might say no, which would put all of the bad pr on the nfl. if he actually said yes, it makes him look pretty stupid. more likely he declines to say or gives some long winded non answer that would, imo, still make him look bad.

He has no point at all

Matt Flynn was on local radio the other night, and he said when he was signed to a team after being out of football for a while he was tested about 8 times in just a few weeks as well

Doesn't surprise me the Dan lebatard superfans ignored this post

San Fransisco ruined this dude. He’s such a bitch. I’m embarrassed that he went to LSU

Reid is on the list of players who have been caught for drugs already so the number of time he has to get tested will always be high.

There's absolutely something fishy about that.

On a separate but related note, what the he'll is up with Reid trying to paralyze someone with every hit? Almost every Panthers game I've seen since he's been there he's been flagged or should have been for unnecessary roughness.

In fairness to the NFL with the penalties and fines being racked up, roid rage isn't exactly implausible.

When you get 7 consecutive clean tests back it might make you question that hypothesis though

With all due respect, not sure a player amount average is relevant to proving anything
It certainly could prove his assertion false. It can't really actually prove it true.

If someone told me the average player was tested 10-15 time, that would easily prove his assertions false.

If 7-8 is around average, same thing.

It’s sketchy but Florio makes a good point that if he has an issue with it, he need to actually file a complaint or something. Putting it on Twitter every week does nothing

I have no clue, does anyone know how many the average player typically gets in a season?

You have conveniently skipped over all posts in here of other pros, even two ex LSU pros, talking about the drug testing

Even raging lib Dan Lebatard acknowledged this and said this seems like much to do about nothing.

I mean Flynn and Hester were very point blank about it. They said it is well known the tests aren’t truly random. If you bulk up or take time off and come back you will be tested more

They both gave personal experiences of this happening to them. They said the players don’t fight against it because they would honestly rather it like this than being truly random.....

Reid has become a caricature of a forever victim at this point

Odell has mentioned that he has been tested nearly a dozen times since the beginning of this season.

I don't think Reid is playing the victim in this situation.
