Sucks for him, but this is why you don't go "all in" for one season in pro sports. They have one pick in the first 4 rounds next year and are currently $10 million over the projected cap next season. They won't be able to improve their team much at all and are one of the oldest teams in the league.

They threw everything at this year and now will likely exit in the Divisional round

And the hits just keep coming. This has been a brutal year for QBs.

I hate that the league is turning things into flag football with every remotely high and low hit ending up in a penalty, but the product is unwatchable without the top 10 or 15 QBs playing, so I get it.

This just stinks of Carr/Oakland last year. The Raiders were cruising and easily looked like one of the best, if not the best, teams in the AFC. Probably had the best chance of beating the Patriots. Then Carr goes down and they're stuck with McGloin and Cook.

Only shimmer of hope for Philly is that Foles isn't McGloin and Cook. Still don't think they win the NFC with him though.

This opens the door wide open for a Minnesota team at home for the SB

Didn’t see the play, but did he hurt it scrambling?

All true, but having Wentz as good as he is this early in his career is HUGE. Finding a serviceable QB is the biggest battle any team has to endure.

it was a high risk play.

he took a few that game.

im not the biggest fan of the QB protection NFL but he was taking on defenders left and right. eventually one of those guys are going to have his number. brees or brady running into those plays and the fans would be going wtf was that psycho doing

Ever since I saw that piece with Wentz and the kid with cancer, I am a Wentz fan. Feel bad for him.

I like Wentz a lot. I wouldn't wish an injury like that on anyone. Lots of season ending injuries this season to ALOT of good players. Hopefully this was just an outlier year.

Get well soon Wentz

Let's see how they do without him.

They'll have an elite level QB for the next 12 years.

But yeah, they shouldn't have gone all in
