So he could get the losing streak up to 40-50 games?

Normally when you lose two players to the NBA, and have a lot of younger talent, I agree he deserved another year.

But that team played horribly down the stretch. It would be one thing if the were playing inspired ball, but they were not.

Long-term, Tulane needs to really consider going to the Southland. They just can't keep up in the AAC and the travel has to be killing them.

They've stepped down in conference once, I'm sure they learned the lesson.

Athletically, they are on the same level of UNO, Nicholls, Southeastern, etc.

They are a heck of a lot closer athletically to those schools than they are to the other AAC schools, sadly.

They just went to a bowl game and almost went the year before. They can compete for sporadic bowl berths in the AAC, which is the same as most AAC programs. Tulane baseball is down right now but anybody can compete in baseball and they've done it in the past. They've just been shite in basketball for the last quarter century.

You’re a moron.

Tulane just damn near won the AAC west Division in football this year.
They’d take last place in every sport in the AAC every year over going to the Southland.

I'd like to see them hire someone like Andy Kennedy. He's a really good coach that would do well there.

A Kennedy makes sense. Billy Kennedy as well since he's got tons of local ties. Neither are automatic risks to leave if they have success.
