anyone who thinks Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco is a better QB than Brees needs to have their head examined.

The only arguments you can possibly make for QBs even or better than Brees are:

Brady
Rodgers
P Manning

Ryan had a better season last year than Brees. That isn't even debatable. So using the typical what have you done for me lately logic Ryan can logically be placed ahead of Brees.

But 6? Come on, man. I'm willing to bet if you asked every NFL head coach to pick a QB to start a franchise with, 100% would pick one of these three guys.

Brady
Brees

No, plenty would pick Manning.

I'd take Manning, Brady and Rodgers all over Brees.

And to touch on a previous poster's yards comment, Matt Stafford has thrown for all kinds of yards, I wouldn't put him in the top 5.

Brees led the league in INTS with Tono Romo (19) and had 274 more yards. He did have 15 more TD's than Romo too, but maybe you're seeing my point?

Manning was good last year, but was pretty overrated. He basically handed Baltimore that playoff game. I'd say right now those three are even with Manning the 4th

Brees didn't hand teams wins? Come on, man.

Brees threw 5 ints in one game. You absolutely cannot drop Manning. He came off neck surgery and not playing at all for a year.

So his 6-20 are:

6. Brees
7. Big Ben
8. Eli
9. Schaub
10. Luck
11. Kaepernick
12. Wilson
13. RGIII
14. Cutler
15. Romo
16. Stafford
17. Rivers
18. Cam
19. Dalton
20. Alex Smith

ETA: Means his top 5 are, in some order, Brady, Manning, Flacco, Rodgers, and Ryan.

I'd say Denver's safety did.

Brees is something like 8-2 against Ryan. Has more wins head to head, overall, playoff wins, better stats, etc. Not sure what kind of angle you can even take to say Ryan is better.

Brees was without his play-caller and head coach and still managed to throw for 5000+ yards and 40+ touchdowns. I mean, that's just terrible right? Downplay the bounty gate shite all you want, but that would mess up any team. With Payton I guarantee you he would have had less interceptions, a higher completion percentage and they make the playoffs. His stats since being in NOLA are absurd. You act like he's done for, but he's younger than both Manning and Brady.

I remember the last time the Saints flew under the radar. Gonna be a fun season watching people eat crow.

Lets talk about that time Matt Ryan won a Super Bowl or all the records he broke.

If we're talking Super Bowls then Eli should be above Brees.

Big Ben too.

That means Flacco AND Ryan are ahead of Brees on this fricking retarded list.

If you asked every NFL GM if they can have any QB to start the 2013 season for them, not one of them say Flacco or Ryan before they say Brees. And if by some strange chance one of them did say Flacco or Ryan, the owner should fire them on the spot.
