Then you say, some people commented on my (Instagram) post that, 'Hey, it's a figure of speech.' Agree or disagree, figure of speeches aren't OK in 2017.

No more metaphors. No more idioms. No more hyperbole. We must all be robots.

It’s like he knew he should be mad, but he didn’t quite know why.

Alert the teachers. They can stop teaching figures of speech but need to keep teaching phrase base word plurality.

I love how people get their jimmies rustled over athletes opinions. They're sports players, not scholars (at least majority of them aren't. For sure a guy like Kyrie isn't)

I love how athletes with IQs around 80-90 are offering up all these hot takes

What McNair said isn't in the same stratosphere as what Trump said. Trump legitimately called them sons of bitches. Green is wrong here.

Jemele Hill/Michael Smith are relieved. Will level the playing field between them and other SC anchors

He'd be the first person to get burned by this.

This is an actual quote from Draymond Gree:

quote:

It's kinda ridiculous what you can't say nowadays. You really can't say anything you believe! I think it's fricking ridiculous how sensitive everyone is to everything, how much things are frowned upon. How much stuff will cost you nowadays. I think it's fricking ridiculous that we can't - there's certain topics that you can't really say how you feel about.

I don’t see anyone even slightly irked in this thread. And personally I love the way athletes are making fools of themselves right and left these days- it’s great for a laugh and hopefully it helps usher in a devaluing of athletes as a whole as far as their level of importance in society as they are not nearly worthy of the adulation they garner.

So coming off an epic sports weekend, what does Lebatard start off with? Applauding Draymond for these comments and some odd story about his large black friend finding dead bodies but calling from a distance

It was also funny as they played these comments like this was some profound statement
