Will be interesting to see, given that he is an Augusta National member. The great Senator Marquito Rubio asked him if he'd give up his membership in a formal letter, not sure if he's given a response.

If he is there, does the club protect him and tell CBS to turn its cameras or do they out him for his hypocrisy?

Rubio is a much more pathetic human than Manfred.

ETA: that being said, this thread belongs on the Political Talk board.

CBS is on his team. They won’t do anything to make him look bad.

They should deny him attendance if he has the balls to show up

Agreed. These guys are all full of shite.

Someone posted the 100s of thousands of political contributions Rubio has accepted from the MLB.

Is he going to give those back?

Except the two primary subjects referenced are the commissioner of one of the 4 major professional sports leagues in this country, and the golf club that hosts the crown jewel tournament of golf. Thanks for playing.

Crybabies. Wish they'd go on strike permanently.
Better baseball played by 10-17 year olds and much less crying.

Worst commish in commish history. Any sport, any decade. Destroyed the integrity of baseball by not protecting the game against habitual cheating on a level unseen in baseball history. Made "Shoeless" Jackson and Pete Rose look like choir boys.

But the thread isn’t about sports. It’s about political grandstanding.

Imagine if every time a political issue referenced sports in any minor way someone on the Political Board said “this should be on the MSB!!!!”

Also notice that the only time anyone on here ever throws out the “take this to the poliboard” is a liberal who is deflecting. Every time.

When an invertebrate like Rubio calls you out, you know you fricked up. Rubio wouldn't say boo to a goose.

Why does he need to give his political contributions back? I consume MLB and the other pro sports and gleefully receive the entertainment they provide me. Businesses should do business with who they want, however, when they venture into dumbass woke partisan politics they set themselves up for hypocrisy accusations and severe backlash. Rubio received those contributions before the MLB decided to act da fool with the All-Star Game, he would be a hypocrite if he accepted their contributions AFTER this.
