Of course it depends on the outcomes of the other championship games, but right now I predict

1. Clemson
2. Auburn
3. Oklahoma
4. Alabama or Ohio State.

I'd like to see Ohio State in the playoffs after they beat Wisconsin.

A Chance, but not a guarantee. The Wisconsin game will not be an easy one.

I'm glad you brought this up. It needed to be discussed on this board.

Committee keeps saying "4 best teams" - and last year didn't seem to give a crap about Conference Titles.

Ohio State would have the same resume of Penn State last year...a Conference Title while getting blown out by a conference foe.

Committee isn't taking Ohio State...unless Alabama schedules a last minute game against Troy and loses.

I feel like for most people the thought of choosing between Bama or OSU is like picking if you want your dick blown off with a shotgun or shredded apart by a cheese grater.

Wrong. Alabama doesn't have the resume that Ohio State had last year. This is a new season, and last year will have little or no impact on this year.

2015 OSU looks similar to 2017 Alabama and that Team was not treated well at the end

What helped Ohio State last year compared to Penn State is going into Championship week they were #2 in the CFP polls.

Where as Penn State was 7th and they beat a team who was 6th.

This year Ohio State is 5th and can jump in if 2 of the top 4 lose (IMO Oklahoma or Auburn)

Because they would have then beaten #2 at the time.

Not sure I agree with it if that's the case? But I can see that's how it would work out.

Yep. They sat behind Stanford, a two-loss conference champion.

It will be hard to over take Alabama, but I think that beating an undefeated Wisconsin team--despite it's joke of a schedule can be a deciding factor in putting them in the playoff especially if there's any sentiment for only 1 team from each conference and winning the conference championship game.

Damn, did you even look at the polls?

Buying into that "there is little difference between 5, 6, 7, and 8" line pretty hard, huh?

He said that because the committee said there is little difference from 5-8.

Ohio State is #8 but that doesn't mean anything.

People will say, how can Ohio State jump Bama (who is #5) when they didn't lose because they were sitting at home?

Committee has already shown they reshuffle the teams each week. Auburn jumped from #6 to #2 with just 1 win.

I just don't see how beating a weak Wisky schedule team is going to make up for Ohio State's blowout losses.

Ohio State has to pretty much beat Wisky 59-0.

And I don't think 59-0 will help....

Watched Wisconsin vs Michigan/Iowa and Ohio State vs Michigan/Iowa. Wisconsin looked like the better team but they were at home while OSU was on the road. I think it is a toss up game.
