First you have to prove the Saints told him that. When the story was being reported, they said the saints were shopping or releasing him. Darren Sproles came out and said he hasn't heard anything. Now she says he was told he would be released. Who is telling the truth, him or his wife?
Also, she goes on and on in a vulgar way, and in the same breath mentions God. This might tell you a little bit about her.

I doubt the Saints "promised" him anything. They didn't have to do that.

Now, it's possible that they thought that there was no way he had any trade value and simply said that he was in line to be released and then were surprised when a market for him actually developed but that's not going back on their word. The situation changed.

Of course she has a point. They told him one thing, then did another without informing him at all. People in here keep saying business is business and that is true, they say the Saints need to do what is best business for them and that is true but I weep for the day when we all decided the best practice for a business was to treat their employees like shite.

Pro sports is more of a meat market in terms of buying and selling than most businesses, but even with a big fat contract the players are still human beings.

I like Sproles but he only was on the team for 3 years!! This is not like a long term team leader was led along by the front office... 3 YEARS!! Sorry bro but 3 years doesn't get you free release when there is a mid-round draft pick out there for trade.

People lose me when they play this card. Even if they are very sincere. I can't help but not take that person seriously.

It doesn't sound like the saints went back on their word. They said we are releasing you and I doubt they gave him a pink promise and then interest arose so that changed.

Sproles should have known what was up when he wasn't immediately released. People get fired and asked to move all the time in business, you will make millions to move stfu.
