Do other conferences suck off each other like the SEC?

I hate the stupid pro sec crap. Seriously this has to be one of the stupidest things. So what your rivals beat some team? Who cares? How does that help you in any way shape or form? If anything it hurts you because now that school has an extra card in hand for recruiting. Outside of financials I don't understand the point at all.

Nope, I agree with you. Personally, I want every team to lose except LSU. Any other schools winning simply gives them momentum to feed off of in the future. LSU fans should always cheer for the opposing schools going up agaisnt the SEC during bowl season.
ETA: unless LSU wins the national championship. Then it just makes LSU look better. In 2008, LSU looked even better when our opponents dominated bowl season. Same as 2011 for the National Title...even though we lost, our wins that year included the Rose, Orange, Cotton Bowl winners, etc.

Big10 teams aren't united and I don't think Pac-12 teams are either.

I'm an LSU fan and other SEC teams can get fricked I couldn't care less. The only time I root for any other SEC team is when that team winning a football game provides a direct and tangible benefit to LSU.
Conference pride is one of the dumbest things ever conceived. Any fan of other SEC teams rooting for Bama to win it all again most likely gets turned on by cuckold porn.

Every University in the nation is playing for that specific University - that's it...

Was an SEC athlete, of the non revenue variety. I enjoy seeing my conference excel in all sports... especially the one the pays the bills. It's not likely my school will win every sport, every year. Minus the 2 mississippi schools I can account for friends who competed for all the SEC schools, mid 30's but I still have mizzou and a&m covered. I don't mind seeing my friends happy their program is doing something good on the field, court, etc. With that being said, I've known most of these folks 20+ years... I thoroughly enjoy mocking their struggles as well.

Now let's say a conference get's decimated in the majority of their bowl games, big 10, they have shown on the biggest stage to not be able to compete with the SEC, now you're trying to say that's not a recruiting tool for all SEC coaches to tout?

Well then you are built on a false sense of reality, the only reason anyone thinks ohio state is decent is because of the over inflated opinions of your shite conference. When you are having close calls each and every week to the scrub arse teams of the Big 10 you need to be able to fall back on wow, what a premiere conference.

Because every other conference wants to compare theirs to the SEC. If the SEC loses a game all you hear is the conference is declining. The only reason other conferences would want to compare to the SEC is if really they do consider them the best. So you find SEC fans United during bowl season and non conference games because you want the jealous whinny fans and media of other conferences always in competition with the SEC to shut up. Literally have a Big 12 fan as a friend who things their conference is the best and always has been when it comes to winning in football. No SEC team won the title last year and my phone blew up about how see the SEC is not the best, the decline is happening. It's easy to cheer the sec. My phone rings less when they win.
