Which leads to the heat he gets from fans.

than Rantards whine about Les Miles?

I don't really follow CFB and don't know much about other fan bases. Is what happens on the Rant typical?

It has always been LSU loses because of Miles and wins despite him. That will never change.

LSU fans do not realize that winning games requires good coaching and good execution, but much more emphasis on the latter. That is Miles' philosophy: execution wins games. A perfect playcall means nothing if your RT whiffs on a block, or if your QB misses a wide open receiver 5 yards away.

Last night the coaches failed the players, and the players failed the coaches.

Awful 1/9 gameplan and coaching leads to the most embarrassing loss possible.

Right cause no other coach has ever lost a Championship game like that.

He cost the team a win against Bama again this year,

Really, it was just him? Nothing the players did cost the team? JC Copeland's stupid PF that cost them 15 yds and negated a run by J Hill that would have put the team inside the 20 didn't hurt, but the fake FG later in that drive did I supposed.

he has cost the team TWO potential national titles?

Did it ever occur to you that they were in that position because of Les Miles? Or do you think goind 34-6 is the natural state of LSU football.

Our talent alone could have won those games without Les.

If you really believe that you are hopelessly stupid.

I've been hopeless since 1/9 and my level of stupidity has increased 10 fold after watching that superb game plan by Les last night. At least he's a good guy though.

Do you think Nick Saban is a terrible coach? You must if you think LSU's players could beat his equally or frankly more talented team without a coach at all.

It's been a LONG time since we beat our rivals, 1 WHOLE year!!!

Yes, because the only reason that guy isn't the most successful coach in the nation is because he trips over his own shoelaces two or three times each year.
Even if he didn't frick up, he wouldn't be better than Saban. Saban is probably the best of all time.

So if you think that, you're basically saying that if it weren't for these 2 or 3 trip ups every year, Les Miles would be one of the best ever.

Just know this, in 2010, if Tennessee keeps 11 guys on the field, and if the fake field goal vs Florida lands six inches towards the line of scrimmage, the LSU finishes 8-4 and that dude might have been fired.
The "what if" game could also land him about 3 national titles.

You can't just roll up and win with great talent and shitty coaching. Hell, you guys tried that once with Gerry DiNardo...

Yes. LSU has consistently had the best talent in just about every game we've played the last 4 years. I agree that Les is an incredible recruiter to have the talent LSU has. With that said if you watch LSU games you see the exact thing that happened last night several times a year. It is incredibly frustrating to watch bonehead play calling and time mismanagement in crucial situations.

Yea, cause those other elite programs are recruiting talent much worse than ours.

You can't really believe that, can you?

While I agree with the overriding point of your post, I can honestly I've never seen a team lose a title game like THAT in my life.

You mean what if West Virginia beats Pitt as a 29 pt favorite? You mean what if Nick Saban stayed in Miami for one more season and didn't take the Alabama job? You mean what if LSU didn't have to run 85 plays on defense in the Swamp this year?

How old are you? Bama did the same thing to Miami in the same building.

It all works both ways, don't act like it doesn't.

How many times have we finished top 5 in the nation, 1 loss from a title game? Let's not act like it never happened.

I don't agree with the quote, but LSU has had supereior talent to just about anyone. Call me a homer but LSU has had studs the last few years.
