The old espn plus that we had bundled was basically demoted when the espn unlimited service was launched back in August. It now doesn’t carry a lot of the bigger football games/mnf and has more the secondary sports now.

Yet the price of ESPN + continues to go up on a regular basis

Thankfully my fam has comcast and every channel imaginable on theirs and I have that login to watch ESPN still.

YTTV now has all fox/nbc type games on which is fine, but I like having all the games I want all the time.

I'm selfish like that

Cable is fine if you only watch one game. The multi tv setup pretty much requires streaming.

Those subscribers are more than happy to get a credit or lower price from YTTV.

I already had Disney, so now I get a $20 credit from YTTV, and spend an extra $10 to add ESPN unlimited. Already had an antenna, so still have ABC.
When this is resolved I will switch back to the lower bundle, but for now, I'm saving money.

College football season ends, Disney immediately loses any leverage they think they had. No one is switching to one of their shitty platforms to watch basketball.

I dont do ytube TV and never will but could this be a ploy to get people to sign up for the ESPN/Disney streaming thing they unveiled in the last few months

I'm just going to go ahead and switch to HULU live and spend the extra $10 or whatever it is compared to YouTube TV. I've heard from different people the picture quality is better too.

Rumors circulating that the two are close to a deal, could happen tonight.

Read yesterday they had agreed on the Espn stuff but not the Abc stuff, which seemed strange.

Today I read where the problem now is Yttv wants everything available with Espn unlimited but Disney and Iger don’t want to give them that.

Eta - Just read they agreed to a deal? Will wait and see
