DirecTV is in a dispute with some media provider every year around the time football season start. Last year it was Nexstar, which owns a lot of local stations (in my case, my local CBS station). At some point DirecTV can’t just act blameless anymore when they are the common denominator.

F Disney. I have DirectTV Stream. Great service. I'm on their side in this dispute. F Disney. Maybe don't put out crappy woke movies and you won't be losing money that you try to recoup on the backs of sports fans.

They started showing the commercials yesterday to contact them if you wanted to keep it. In the past I feel like those were aired weeks before. Had no idea it was this close

Yeah obviously strategic on ESPN/Disney’s part. They were probably debating whether to do it for this game or MNF

I saw some during the Miami UF game I’m pretty sure. I didn’t watch the Arizona game and I know I saw them yesterday (before the A&M game)
