I think he was running the wrong route and knew that and thought the ball was going to reciver and that's why he pulled back. The DB slipped in between and picked it off.

A 14 year NFL vet agrees with me that the ball should have been thrown away.

And he also thought that Gabriel played well except for a few plays; same as me.

the ball was 12-14 inches from his hands AFTER he pulled his hands back

The ball shouldn’t have been thrown at all.

If we’re judging from one game, give me the guy that has two TDs and no turnovers over the guy with zero touchdowns and two turnovers

Your video at the 1 minute to 2-minute mark is even more proof that the TE took an intentional dive !! There was one person that ball was thrown to, and he put his hands up and intentionally did not catch the ball.

If you and this other guy who said Dillon "threw it right to the DB" can't see that, you aren't worthy of any discussion.

In the video below it appears much more likely the TE pulled back because he thought the ball was going to the receiver behind him. DB made a nice play and stepped between them. I know the world is ripe with conspiracies these days(rightfully) but there's not one in every situation. This is one of those where there appears to be no conspiracy based on the video. Just a theory that anyone searching for one can find.

of course! you're a Shedeur lover, that's why your argument on the "pick six" is complete debauchery

Look at your own video, and freeze it at 1:23

then tell me the TE #86 did not botch that on purpose...

Interesting.

So a dude possibly playing for a roster spot just decided to not make a play in order to sabotage another player.

You have to be trolling. Or you might belong in a padded room.

I tend to agree with you. But there is no denying that the TE made zero attempt to catch a ball he could have easily caught.

Did you see the video? Is it number 85 or 86? It's 85, Whitehead look at the video. He TRIED NOT to catch it.

He did let it go. A possible explanation for me is he thought the pass was for another player. They had a guy #16 close behind him running another route.

maybe Chase Daniel is jealous of Dillon, since he started a total of 5 NFL games in 14 years.

After screen recording the video. Seems like the TE didn’t catch the ball because he thought the pass was to the WR.

Anyone who says this was a bad pass is a moron.

YouTube every Dillion G pass

So, you think the TE would risk his own career and let a Gabriel pass be intercepted just to try to make Sanders look better. Do you really think the Browns coaches and front office care about stuff like that? They’re seeing a lot more than you are. If a TE or WR really did that, do you think they wouldn’t know?

Grow up, man. Everything isn’t some elaborate conspiracy. Sometimes things just aren’t what you want.
