I would hardly describe any given night at Tiger Stadium as "white collar." In fact, I would hesitate to call any SEC team outside of vandy as white collar. Otherwise, I agree with your assessment. NFL fans run the gamut but the ones you see at games are some real salt of the earth folk

I went to a couple of games in 2002. Dome might not have been full but it was damn close.

Saints fans are way better. I love my section in the Dome. Everyone around me is 100% tuned in and very knowledgable about the game.

Whenever I am in Tiger Stadium there are always people who won't shut the frick up jibber jabbering about some bullshite, sorority girls barfing everywhere and taking instagram pictures, and no shortage of white trash.

Truth.

75% of LSU fans are also Saints fans.
60% of Saints fans are also LSU fans. The difference being the large Gulf coast fan base as well as people from the New Orleans that went to another college.

my memory might be slightly hazy because we ran you out of the building and sent a lot of people home early but regardless it was not a sellout and not any better than what LSU did in it's worst years.

It's not exclusive to Louisiana though. College fan bases are more white collar in nature while nfl fan bases are more blue collar. That's just the way it is. Falcons fans are trashier than UGA fans, Cowboys fans trashier than Longhorn fans, etc.

You said it perfectly. Ive known more Dolphin fans that are just as thuggish as canes fans. Hell last year on the rant LSU fans handled the Bama loss WAY BETTER then Saints fans handled the Drew Brees 5 INT game against the Atl. Brees cost me the win in fantasy that week.

And a lot of people in this thread are limiting Saints fans to just Louisiana Saints fans. The Saints fanbase goes further than just Louisiana. Most of south Mississippi, parts of south Alabama. All those Ole Miss, Alabama fans who also call themselves Saints fans have to be included.

In 2002 the saints beat the niners. Your memory must be pretty fricking hazy.
