His stats were mediocre at best.
If reed is probowl material then Marques Colston should be a lock.

You should be top 3-4 of your era at your position IMO.
I don't care about stats but nobody ever talked about Reed being one of the best in the game during his best years...late 80's to early 90's.
He made the Pro Bowl many times but who gives a crap...that's meaningless popularity crap...
....so on to the more meaningful awards...
He never made a single 1st team All-Pro...not a single one. And was only named 2nd team twice during his two best years...'89 and '90.
I don't get why he's in...I watched his entire career. Not once did I think I was watching greatness.

Not at all. Reed was a great player. Should he be in? I don't see why not. The NFL hall of fame has become a joke anyway.
