I will feel bad for her if it comes out that they were on a group vacation as they claimed and nothing happened
And the time for such a defense is shortly after this all started before a narrative is written
Occam’s razor is pretty straightforward tbh

I honestly despise Jemele Hill and “none would exist” is extremely hyperbolic.
But there is the tiniest sliver of truth in her point.
Male reporters get close to sports folks in the know and having scoops by either being 1) the top shelf at their job (Woj, Schefty) that work nonstop and people can trust 2) by being dope arse bros to hang with 3) whatever the frick Brian Windhorst does
Strip clubs, partying of different kinds, yet keeping those secrets and being chill about it is how a minority (but not tiny) number of media folks get by. Kind of like how investment brokers used to be back in the day, and still do to a much lesser degree.
TBH It’s kind of exhausting when I’ve heard about it. It’s work. They do it consistently, and it’s how they maintain relationships. It’s their job and they didn’t get there with great test scores. Do what you have to do and are good at. No judgement.
I personally don’t think Diana outright fricks all of her sources, but I do think she plays into the woman flirty/intimacy angle at times to make men more comfortable to share things. I know myself and it would work on me. I personally don’t think that’s a “bad” thing either, but I understand why it’s a clear HR/ethics issue for her employers.
This whole “controversy” is just the veil coming off reality and people are clutching pearls, IMO.

Yeah Crissy, like you probably don't have a few pro dicks in your closet. All these sports whores are the same.

I’m with you, but there were a lot of dudes in another thread acting like this was innocent behavior

What I find interesting is the number of female sportspeople who have felt very comfortable in getting out there and blasting her. Ladies, at some point, I will write a book. And the more I see you yapping out there about all this high and mighty self-righteous, I know a lot about a lot of you. So be careful. And by the way, I’ve made stupid mistakes too. I was just lucky enough to have done them before all this sort of social media, everybody’s got a camera lif
I don’t know who Michelle Beadle is but she seems to be saying all women are whores, including herself

The irony of her turning around and blaming people for digging and leaking and reporting the same type of things she has built her entire career on is not lost on me. If it was any other NFL story she’d be doing the same exact thing everyone else is doing

Journalism is dead and the average football fan has never heard of this woman. Go away quietly nobody wants to hear you talk

My favorite part about scandalous behavior is everyone saying they knew all along. You name it, it was “well-known.”
Brian Kelly skipping practice to golf? Oh, everyone knew that.
Player X has a coke habit? Duh, we all know.
Every reporter from Baton Rouge to NYC to College Station loves to pretend that everyone knew, but none of them have the balls to speak up.

This doesn’t add up. She was regularly on the field during games or doing interviews for ESPN for years
How do you NOT know of her is the question?

You don't know who Michelle Beadle is?

Is this autocorrect because I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone use “oxygen” as a verb. Weird.

Check ESPN’s ratings. Nobody is watching that network

She used oxygen as a noun, not a verb.

Ah…I misread “lend” as “let”. Onward
